PROJECT SCOPE: Served as inventory specialist on multi-function consultant team to assist in identifying and rectifying product theft and shrinkage .
RESULTS: Conducted complete review of inventory management and reconciliation process. Implemented various control procedures to improve inventory accountability. Using a 360 review process brought together multi function team of internal Apria personnel to review, refine and develop and implementation strategy for suggested process changes.

PROJECT SCOPE: Served as project manager for carve out of Rockport Group from Adidas as standalone company. Transition systems and inventory to new 3PL service providers in US, Canada, Korea and Portugal.
RESULTS: Developed detailed plans for work and information systems flows for the 3PL implementations in all countries. Worked side by side with 3PL Operations teams to develop and implement procedures for handling client business from inbound, to storage to pick and pack and shipping. Coordinate movement of all product from existing Adidas warehouse to new 3PL's in all countries (3 million pairs of shoes).

PROJECT SCOPE: Served as project manager first to provide on-site management assistance to 3PL and improve order throughput and inventory management, and second as part of team to source and transition to an alternative 3PL to handle the business.
RESULTS: Worked with existing 3PL to manage flow and control of outbound orders including daily dock sweeps and order reconciliation. Work with both client and 3PL to get control on excessive inbound product that was inhibiting order picking accuracy and productivity. Reduced average order throughput time by 3 days. Once new 3PL was identified, coordinated the movement of inventories (5 million pairs of shoes and handbags) between existing 3PL and new 3PL.

Prepare RFP and conduct search for a 3PL partner to move lifestyle inventory and fulfillment to a high quality 3PL provider
RESULTS: Developed Gantt chart style project tracker to track and oversee mass merchant fulfillment (from both US warehouse and direct ship from factory). Assured that factories were in full social compliance. Assured products and packaging were CTL and ISTA tested to meet customer requirements. Conduct daily project status update conference calls to monitor assigned tasks. Sent out 5 RFP’s on 3PL business, conducted site visits and cost analysis on all. Selected 3PL projected to generate $200K per year in combined warehouse and transportation cost savings with 4th quarter 2014 go live date.

RESULTS: Performed ABC stratification on inventory to assure new purchases focus on higher volume sellers. In four months have reduced past due AP by 25% and decreased total inventory dollars by 5% while increasing A and B item inventory by 5%. Reduced total working capital by $110,000 or 7%. Develop project tracker to de-bug and ensure smooth implementation of new business and shop maintenance software package. Developed distributor sales price list to move items that company now manufacturers vs purchases.

PROJECT SCOPE: Manage all aspects of Inventory and Quality Control for the 5 West Coast Distribution Centers for this $500M Supply Chain Services Company (primarily Apparel and Footwear).
RESULTS: Developed and implemented standardized IC and QC scorecard. Developed baseline productivity standard for all IC and QC functions. During 2012 improved WC inventory accuracy 410 basis points to 99.96%. Established daily Cycle Count Program that yielded a 922 basis point improvement to 98.17%. Established outbound shipping audit process that yielded an 822 basis point accuracy improvement to 99.78%. Established a put away audit process that yielded a 1.23% accuracy improvement to 99.64%. Created and documented full blown Physical Inventory process and procedures to execute annual Physical Inventories in all West Coast facilities. During 2012 conducted over 20 separate account Physical Inventories.

RESULTS: $6 million annual saving generated by negotiating exclusive manufacturing agreements with strategic partners and moving production from two domestic factories to China. Raised annual worldwide inventory turns from 1.8 to 3.7 and reduced U.S. inventory levels $10 million. Increased lines shipped 35% and improved productivity 50% by implementing WMS system. Implemented the C-TPAT voluntary supply chain security program to provide for the uninterrupted flow of goods through Asian customs channels. Conducted SKU rationalization analysis, reduced SKUs 29% with nominal sales impact (1.6% of sales). Led team for ISO9002 implementation for Salt Lake City, Utah distribution center. PROJECT SCOPE: Led 15-member cross-functional supply chain team with full accountability for purchasing, production control, strategic planning, maintaining finished goods inventory, and minimizing capital requirements.
RESULTS: Project Manager for ERP conversion from ASK ManMan to Epicor Manage 2000. Decreased total inventories including WIP 29%, improved order fill rate 56%, and decreased product throughput time 23% by developing and implementing an Inventory Reduction Action Plan (IRAP). Reduced order-picking time for warehouse 33% and eliminated 79% of picking errors by developing and locating a bin of stock hardware items on production floor. Ensured inventory and production alignment with sales plan by conducting monthly Master Production Schedule review with executive sales team. Led purchase and installation of auto-insertion PCB assembly machine that increased assembly accuracy, quality, and available inventory stock space, while reducing picking time, assembly labor, and lead-time.
